About This Tour

Start your journey along the untamed edge of the Niagara Gorge at the Niagara Glen. Descend into the trail system that winds past towering cliffs, swirling rapids, fossil-led rock faces and the thundering white-water of Devils Holes Rapids. With the option for experienced hikers, we'll continue to the dramatic Niagara Whirlpool for sweeping views of the river's power.

Then, we'll head to the main attraction, Niagara Falls itself, where you'll enjoy elevated viewpoints and have time to pick an optional experience: the "Walk Behind the Falls", the boat tour, or simply soak in the roar of the falls from a scenic vantage.

On the return trip to Toronto, we'll pause at one of the region's charming wineries for a quick stop (optional) and a taste of the local heritage.

This outing blends rugged nature and iconic spectacle, perfect for nature lovers, photo-enthusiasts and anyone seeking a memorable escape.

What to Expect

A full-day adventure combining forest trails, gorge views and waterfalls.

Great variety: a moderate hike down into the gorge and along riverbed trails, followed by scenic stops at Niagara Falls.

Strong visual contrasts: from rugged cliff-lined rapids to the thunderous beauty of the falls.

Optional upgrade for more advanced hikers: continuing along the riverbed to the Niagara Whirlpool.

Plenty of photo opportunities, fresh summer air, and a break at a vineyard or winery en-route.

Easy to moderate fitness level required, not mountaineering, but some uneven terrain and stairs.

What to Bring

Comfortable, sturdy walking/hiking shoes with good grip (the gorge trails are rocky and uneven).

Lightweight summer layers and a windbreaker (mist from the falls can make it cool).

Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat.

A refillable water bottle and snacks or a packed lunch (some stops have limited facilities).

Camera or smartphone

Optional: a swimsuit and towel if you'd like a quick lakeside dip during the day (weather permitting).

A small backpack to carry your essentials and any personal items.

Pickup Point

Downtown Toronto - Our pick-up and drop-off point is at the Bedford Exit of St. George Station.
