Your adventure begins at Inglis Falls Conservation Area, where the 18-meter cascade of the Sydenham River tumbles over the Niagara Escarpment. Just steps from the parking area, multiple viewpoints showcase this iconic sight, and a short forest trail offers a fresh, photo-worthy perspective.
Next, discover Jones Falls, a hidden gem only a five-minute walk from the lot. Follow the Pottawatomi River to its 12-meter drop, surrounded by peaceful woodland.
Then, head to Eugenia, home to two spectacular waterfalls: the 30-meter Eugenia Falls, with sweeping views of the Beaver Valley, and nearby Hoggs Falls, a serene spot perfect for cooling your feet, if you can handle the chill!
If conditions allow, we'll also visit the Indian Falls in Owen Sound, a breathtaking horseshoe-shaped cascade tucked within a scenic gorge.
Expect a relaxed day of short, scenic walks with plenty of photo opportunities and a touch of adventure. Most waterfalls are not too far from the parking areas, with easy forest trails and moderate terrain at a few spots. You won't need to swim, but you may feel a refreshing mist, and at Hoggs Falls, you can even dip your feet (or more) in the cool water.
Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots, trails can be uneven or slippery near the falls.
