Experience the serene magic of the Ontario wilderness in winter. Our journey takes you through snow-covered trails at Algonquin, following the shoreline of Cache Lake and the Madawaska River under wintry skies. The climb to the viewpoint becomes a crisp ascent with sweeping icy vistas. We pause at Lake of Two Rivers, the frozen shoreline offering stillness and a breath of winter air. Then, driving via Highway 60, we arrive at Ragged Falls — where the Oxtongue River thunders beneath a coating of ice, the rock formations accented with frost. It's a winter wonderland for hikers, photographers and anyone captivated by snow, ice and quiet landscapes.
