Be immersed in the wild beauty of Algonquin Provincial Park on one of its most scenic and rewarding trails, Centennial Ridges. This circular route winds through peaceful forests, quiet ponds formed by beaver dams, and the sparkling shores of Rutter Lake. As the path climbs higher, a series of ridge lookouts reveal sweeping views over Whitefish Lake and the Lake of Two Rivers, a perfect moment to pause, breathe deeply, and take in the grandeur of Algonquin's rolling landscape.
After the hike, enjoy a relaxing break or refreshing swim at Lake of Two Rivers, surrounded by serene wilderness. On our return journey, we'll stop at Ragged Falls Provincial Park, where the thundering Oxtongue River cascades over rugged rock, one of Ontario's top waterfall experiences. Time permitting, we'll also visit Bracebridge's Trans Canada Trail, a short forest loop showcasing the charming Potts Falls and several smaller cascades along the Muskoka River.
A day rich with forest trails, panoramic ridge views, and cascading water, perfect for hikers and nature lovers looking to experience the best of Algonquin.
