About This Tour

Be immersed in the vibrant colours and landscapes of Algonquin Provincial Park.

Our adventure begins with a scenic hike along the shores of Cache Lake and the Madawaska River, crossing charming little bridges, passing waterfalls and dams, then climbing a short stair section to a breathtaking panoramic look-out over the lake.

After a refreshing stop at Lake of Two Rivers to enjoy the cool breeze by the water, we continue via Highway 60 to Ragged Falls Provincial Park, where a short trail rewards you with dramatic views of the rushing water of the Oxtongue River, one of Ontario's top waterfall experiences. Time and light permitting, we may also pause for a quick look at nearby High or Potts Falls.

Join us for a day of forest trails, lake vistas and tumbling water, perfect for nature lovers, photo-enthusiasts and anyone looking to escape into the wild.

What to Expect

A full-day outing with moderate walking/hiking: mainly well-marked trails, a short climb for the viewpoint, and a picturesque lakeside break.

Rich fall colours, lush summer greenery, or crisp spring growth depending on season — ideal for photos and fresh air.

No strenuous mountaineering — just accessible trails, scenic vantage points, and plenty of stops to soak in the scenery.

Swimming or wading may be possible at some lake edges (in summer) but the focus is on looking, relaxing and exploring nature.

What to Bring

Comfortable hiking shoes with good grip (the trail has roots, rocks and some incline).

Light layers and a windbreaker, temperatures by lakeside can shift.

Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen for sun exposure.

Water bottle and snacks or a picnic lunch, minimal on-site facilities.

Camera or smartphone, this trip offers memorable views at every turn.

Optional: swimwear and towel if you're feeling adventurous by the lake.

Pickup Point

Downtown Toronto - Our pick-up and drop-off point is at the Bedford Exit of St. George Station.
