About This Tour

Welcome to the Waterfall Capital of the World! This unforgettable day trip explores some of Hamilton's most iconic natural landmarks, where the Niagara Escarpment creates a breathtaking landscape of cliffs, gorges, and cascading falls.

Our morning begins at the Spencer Gorge Conservation Area, home to Tew Falls, the tallest waterfall in Hamilton at 41 meters. From here, enjoy a scenic 1.8 km hike along forested trails leading to the Dundas Peak, a spectacular lookout over the Dundas Valley and the city below. Just a short walk away, we'll visit Webster Falls, a romantic 22-meter curtain waterfall framed by a picturesque cobblestone bridge, one of Hamilton's most photographed spots.

Next, we travel to Tiffany Falls, following an easy 800-meter trail through peaceful woodland to reach this graceful 21-meter cascade. Feel the refreshing mist and take in the tranquil setting, a perfect pause in nature.

Our adventure continues to Sherman Falls, a 17-meter terraced waterfall tucked within a lush forest, before heading to the striking Devil's Punchbowl, a 33-meter ribbon waterfall plunging into a dramatic 100-meter gorge that reveals 40-million-year-old rock layers. With multiple viewpoints and panoramic photo opportunities, this is truly a highlight of the day.

Depending on time and conditions, we may also stop to admire Felker, Albion, or Buttermilk Falls, hidden gems that complete this day of cascading beauty.

What to Expect

Enjoy a full day of short, scenic hikes and incredible viewpoints, perfect for all experience levels. Trails range from easy to moderate (5 to 30 minutes each), with some uneven terrain. Expect lush forests, cooling mist from the falls, and stunning photo stops throughout the day. Swimming is not permitted, but the refreshing spray and forest shade make for a rejuvenating experience.
